Hexaware Named a Leader in Design and Setup in the ISG Provider Lens® Global Capability Center (GCC) Services 2026 Global Quadrant Report

Information Services Group (ISG), a technology research and advisory firm, has recognized Hexaware as a Leader in Design and Setup in its ISG Provider Lens® Global Capability Center (GCC) Services 2026 Global Quadrant report.

This recognition is a testament to Hexaware and SMC Squared’s end-to-end GCC lifecycle offerings, including build-operate-transfer (BOT)/managed GCC execution and AI-enabled GCC transformation into innovation hubs.

As a leader among GCC service providers, Hexaware is placed alongside firms such as ANSR, Accenture, EY, Cognizant, PwC, KPMG, Infosys, TCS, Deloitte, Capgemini, IBM, HCLTech, and CGI.

The report noted Hexaware’s consultative blueprinting model, flexible BOT and managed constructs, AI-infused GCC 2.0 framework, and AI-augmented talent and rapid launch capability as its key strengths in GCC design and GCC setup:

  • Consultative blueprinting model: Hexaware, which acquired SMC Squared, “evaluates role viability, capability readiness, automation potential, and transition risk to ensure GCC scope aligns with enterprise strategy rather than lift-and-shift,” the report said.
  • Flexible BOT and managed constructs: The report highlighted Hexaware’s BOT as one that was CFO-friendly, offering financial flexibility, no upfront capital, optional transition, and asset recovery mechanisms. “Managed GCC and assisted build variants provide additional entry paths for enterprises seeking speed with reduced ownership risk,” it added.
  • AI-infused GCC 2.0 framework: According to the ISG® report, Hexaware’s approach to AI “enables faster ramp-up, higher productivity, and potential incremental cost efficiencies beyond traditional GCC arbitrage models.”
  • AI-augmented talent and rapid launch capability: “Hexaware layers AI-driven talent matching and screening tools onto SMC Squared’s recruit-to-fit model, accelerating hiring at scale without compromising cultural and domain alignment,” the report noted.

ISG’s ‘Design and Setup’ quadrant assesses providers that enable enterprises to design, establish, and operationalize new GCCs.
