Chennai’s largest half marathon, the Dream Runners Half Marathon, is set to take place on July 21, 2024. Hexaware, continuing its tradition as the title sponsor for the fifth consecutive year, has reaffirmed its commitment to promoting fitness and community welfare. To date, 3,600 participants have registered for the event, and the number continues to rise.
The Hexaware Dream Runners Half Marathon is designed to inspire participants to integrate fitness into their daily routines. The event features free, structured training programs across 13 chapters in Chennai, allowing participants to train safely in their local neighborhoods. Participants will also have the chance to receive health advice from experts and apply these insights to improve their well-being.
The proceeds from the marathon will benefit three notable Chennai-based NGOs:
- Helping FREEDOM Trust, which distributes prosthetic limbs.
- The International Foundation for Crime Prevention and Victim Care, which supports women affected by domestic violence.
- Vijay Human Services, which provides financial assistance to people with intellectual disabilities.
