Vontier, a global industrial technology company focused on smarter transportation and mobility, was looking at redesigning its Configuration Management Database (CMDB). Their major pain points were data quality, the need for more transparent processes, issues with governance, and team collaboration. The way forward was to incorporate CMDB best practices and keep pace with business needs with a roadmap aligned with the ServiceNow platform extension.

Vontier partnered with Hexaware to assess and bring in best practices and redesign the CMDB. The 16- week project with Hexaware brought in a 56% improvement in CMDB data quality and a remarkable 40% improvement in change execution. The journey helped them understand the model for CMDB implementation and asset management. The solution enhanced collaboration and carved out a roadmap for enterprise platform adoption.
