The five wins span certification, learning strategy, blended learning, talent development, and AI in recruitment

Hexaware Technologies [NSE: HEXT], an AI-first digital and IT services company, has received five honors at the 2026 Brandon Hall Group™ HCM Excellence Awards®, with four gold awards and one bronze.

The HCM Excellence Awards® recognize HR and learning programs for their design, innovation, adoption, and business results. Hexaware was recognized across five categories:

  • Best Certification Program (Gold): SONIC, Hexaware’s enterprise certification program, helps employees build skills aligned to their roles. It maps 1,000+ certifications to 800 roles; employees completed 44,742 in 2025, including 9,393 advanced AI certifications.
  • Best Unique or Innovative Learning and Development Program (Gold): SONIC also gives employees different ways to develop beyond certification, through AI-guided learning, instructor-led programs, hackathons, and peer learning. In 2025, 81% of Hexaware’s technology workforce completed digital training.
  • Best Learning Strategy (Gold): Mavericks, Hexaware’s campus talent development strategy, helps graduates move from college to project work through structured and hands-on learning. It cut time-to-deploy 30%, certified 432 engineers and reached 10,000+ students in over 30 colleges.
  • Best Use of Blended Learning (Gold): Segue, Hexaware’s blended learning program for campus hires, combines self-paced and instructor-led learning with projects, peer learning, gamification, and AI personalization. It grew from 200 to 3,200+ learners, raised offer acceptance 30%, cut time-to-productivity 25%, and improved retention 15%.
  • Best Use of AI for Talent Acquisition (Bronze): Hexaware uses AI across sourcing, screening, and interview coordination, with human oversight and bias controls built in. The approach cut time-to-hire 25–40%, recruitment costs up to 35%, external portal reliance 30–50% and delivered 2–3x first-year ROI.

Satyendu Mohanty, EVP & Global Head – Talent Management, Hexaware, said, “The advantage comes from seeing talent development as a continuum, from how people enter the organization to how they build depth, move across roles, and stay relevant as the work changes.”

Vinod Chandran, Chief Operating Officer, Hexaware, added, “Workforce readiness has to move at the pace of technology and client demand. These programs give us a more systematic way to build capability ahead of need and deploy it faster.”

“Every year, the HCM Excellence Awards® remind us that innovation is ultimately about impact. The organizations recognized this year have demonstrated that great HR and learning strategies don’t just improve programs, they strengthen organizations, empower people, and deliver measurable business results. We are honored to celebrate their achievements,” said Rachel Cooke, COO of Brandon Hall Group™ and HCM Excellence Awards® Program Leader.
