Hexaware Technologies, a global provider of IT services and solutions, has been named one of ET Edge’s Sustainable Organisations 2025, presented by its Global Sustainability Alliance platform. The recognition celebrates companies turning climate goals into operational realities, embedding ESG into core strategy and execution.
Hexaware’s inclusion reflects a year of tangible impact. The company converted 57.5% of the electricity used across its Indian operations to renewable energy—71% at its wholly owned campuses, preventing over 6,000 tons of CO₂ emissions. It also installed 1.8 MW of rooftop solar capacity and reduced Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 20%, advancing its net-zero 2040 goal. Waste practices have undergone similar transformation with all campuses now sending zero waste to landfills. These initiatives contributed to Hexaware securing an EcoVadis Silver rating, placing it in the top 8% of companies assessed globally.
R Srikrishna, Chief Executive Officer & Executive Director, said, “Innovation means little unless it helps the planet. Every renewable kilowatt and every repurposed kilogram prove how tech-driven thinking can shrink our footprint and create business value. This recognition underscores that smart sustainability is good strategy.”
Uma Thomas, Chief Risk Officer, added, “Sustainability informs everything we do, from risk modeling to infrastructure design. It’s not a parallel track; it’s how we future proof the business. Being recognized among India’s leading sustainable organizations validates the real-world impact of our net-zero roadmap.”
As part of ET Edge’s broader effort to build a transformative ecosystem around sustainability, this recognition reinforces Hexaware’s belief that bold environmental action and business performance can grow together.
