Oracle released the much awaited next major version of Oracle PeopleSoft, Oracle PeopleSoft9.2 on 22nd March 2013. Hexaware as an Oracle Platinum Partner, has got access to many Oracle PeopleSoft 9.2 materials and applications to enhance its knowledge on the new version of Oracle PeopleSoft.
PeopleSoft PeopleTools 8.53 provides a comprehensive development toolset that supports the development and runtime of PeopleSoft applications.
Oracle has conducted many webinars for their partners and we have participated in those webinars to know more about the product.
More than 40 Hexaware PeopleSoft Subject Matter Experts are involved in preparing the presentations on Oracle PeopleSoft 9.2 features and we are conducting many sessions to make the PeopleSoft team understand what is delivered as part of Oracle PeopleSoft 9.2.
Since most of you are already aware of our market recognition in the PeopleSoft Community with a backing of more than 100+ PeopleSoft Upgrades (starting from 7.0 to 9.1), this unanimously includes our 25+ Oracle PeopleSoft 9.1 upgrades. We have already kick started 9.2 engagements are also expecting more PeopleSoft 9.2 upgrades in the coming months.
We have enhanced our Upgrade tools that will help us to do smoother upgrades. We have also created some new tools that can be used during the upgrades.
As an Oracle Platinum Partner, we have our Hexaware employees working in Oracle to develop PeopleSoft 9.2 PeopleSoft Test Framework (PTF) test cases. It automates the PeopleSoft testing cycle more from the Functional testing perspective. It helps the testing team to execute more test cases within a short time. The same test cases can be repeatedly executed. These test cases can easily be migrated to other instances of the PeopleSoft applications and allows the users to execute the test cases in the different life cycles with no effort. We have delivered more than 5000 test cases which are going to add value to our customers.
Oracle has released the Upgrade scripts for the below:
PeopleSoft HCM 9.1 Co-exist with PeopleSoft HCM 9.2
If the customers want to be on “Cloud”, there are delivered integrations available between Oracle PeopleSoft 9.2 and Oracle Fusion. Oracle Fusion can co-exist with Oracle PeopleSoft 9.2.
Another co-existence option is also available. Let us say the customer is in Oracle PeopleSoft 9.1 and has Core HR and Payroll solutions. This can co-exist with Oracle PeopleSoft 9.2 for Recruiting application.
