The client is a leading insurance service provider offering a range of insurance solutions to individuals, self-employed persons, companies, and institutions.
The Business Need:
The client wanted to migrate 25 existing motor insurance products into two main products – Personal Auto and Commercial Auto, using a Guidewire Datahub-based migration strategy to simplify the process of managing the data.
The Value Delivered:
We implemented a solution that maximized the use of client’s current assets to keep the cost of the upcoming migrations for other lines of business as minimum as possible. The new data hub maintained a historical database for future referencing.
Minimal custom coding was required as the entire code for the ETL activities was generated automatically thereby eliminating the errors that are typically produced by manual coding, producing results in a consistent fashion. Further, Robotic Process Automation intervention brought a 60% reduction in manual migration efforts.
