Sandeep Gorai | For a multinational finance and insurance corporation, Hexawares Workday Production Support team received repetitive requests on cost center creation through SalesForce. The team received 25 requests per month and each request took about 2 hours of manual work by the production support team. The requests were manually retrieved from SFDC and completed in Workday. Sandeep Gorai designed a trigger program in salesforce, which used Workday API to pass data from SDFC to Workday. For reading the PDF, a snippet of Java code was integrated into the Workday program to parse the .pdf file to .xml. This value-add helped in saving $15600 of work in a year.
