Our initiatives foster Hexawarians’ active involvement and teamwork, prioritizing stakeholder wellbeing across social, environmental, and ethical realms through a holistic approach.
Hexaware's CSR initiatives encompass a diverse range of areas aimed at creating a positive and lasting impact on society and the environment.
We provide underprivileged children access to mainstream education through digital literacy, scholarships, and programs in STEM and fine arts.
We collaborate with NGOs to empower underprivileged youth, women, transgender, and people with disabilities with valuable skills to improve their employment prospects.
We provide cataract surgeries to elderly populations in rural areas, offer early childhood interventions, enable school sanitation, and conduct blood donation drives.
We focus on restoring water bodies, planting trees, raising environmental awareness, and minimizing carbon emissions through responsible business practices.
We support talented individuals in competitive sports, offer financial aid to Olympic and Paralympic athletes and organize marathons for social causes.
We support projects that focus on improving the lives of people in rural areas. Our integrated village development initiative tackles agriculture, livelihood, water, health, and education challenges.
We aim to empower women by providing them with a platform to learn and prepare for opportunities, enabling them to step up to their full potential.
As part of our CSR commitment, we support the Pankh Project—an initiative for creating sustainable livelihoods for persons with disabilities (PWD) within the retail sector. In collaboration with the Trust For Retailers and Retail Associates of India (TRRAIN), we’ve impacted the lives of many people—one being Appasaheb Sudhakar Vetal. The 22-year-old from Maharashtra’s Aurangabad faced challenges due to speech and hearing impairments after completing his higher secondary certification. In his pursuit of employment, he learned about the Pankh program through a friend at our Pune center. Eager to support his family, he enrolled in the course.
The program boosted his confidence, enhanced his communication skills, and provided valuable knowledge in retail and customer services. Appasaheb’s hard work paid off when he secured a position as a Customer Service Associate, bringing joy to his life.

Polachery, near Mambakkam, Chennai, is home to a series of water bodies. The Polachery Lake, surrounded by residential complexes and reserve forests, lacked proper maintenance and had lost its structural integrity due to invasive weeds and solid waste. In a collaborative conservation effort involving the Chengalpattu District Collectorate, Hexaware Technologies, and the Environmentalist Foundation of India (EFI), the lake was successfully restored to its natural state. The restoration process included the removal of invasive weeds, deepening of the lake to increase its storage capacity by 40%, strengthening of the bunds, the establishment of nesting islands to enhance biodiversity, and planting of native trees to enrich the greenery of the region.
Our early intervention program supports children aged 0 to 7 ‘at risk’ for developmental disabilities and offers a remedial program for older children aged 8 to 18. Srinath, a six-year-old with developmental delays and autism symptoms, received comprehensive early intervention at our center. We worked on sensory integration, communication skills, and social interactions, equipping his parents with training in ADL, language, and play. Our collaborative approach resulted in remarkable progress, enabling Srinath to perform daily activities independently, follow instructions, and enhance his overall well-being. Due to his significant improvement, he has successfully transitioned to a special school.
Sadhana and Kaviya, two young dropouts from the Kannaginagar community, were previously without formal education. Their mother was struggling to make ends meet when our team stepped in. We provided these children with a structured environment at Rainbow Community Care Learning Centre (RCCLC), focusing on developing social skills, reading, and writing. Simultaneously, we actively supported their mother in fostering a strong dedication to their education. Through regular follow-ups, we helped the family recognize the importance of schooling, ultimately enrolling the children in Ezhilnagar Middle School in Chennai.
