A leading American secondary mortgage firm achieves 50% TCO reduction in their Cloud Replatforming journey

A leading US-based multi-billion-dollar secondary mortgage firm wanted to cloud replatform its more than a decade old Java-based web application running on WebLogic. This application was highly complex, business-critical, and handled core  financial processes for the organization. One of the major challenges in cloud transforming this application was the non-availability of key SMEs. Hence, doing an assessment and building a suitable roadmap to replatform this application to the cloud as fast as possible, that too with considerable TCO reduction, needed an innovative and automation-based approach. We engaged our proprietary cloud replatforming product suite AmazeTM for Applications to automate the assessment, transformation, and build and deployment processes. The application was broken into web front end and service back end. Containerization was done on AWS ECS for optimum cloud performance with high scalability, availability, and cost optimization.
