Problem Statement CRM system was receiving lots of junk or spam leads from third party system (preferably from Seahawk) which created customer & Leads which became obsolete at some point of time. SMS team creates SQL statements and use to clean up the data which was first of all time consuming and data cleanup using SQL did not cleanup all the relevant data for the customer which led to more orphan data. Every time the criteria to pick up the junk leads differed so the same set of SQL couldn’t be used for cleanup in recurrence.
Solution Created an online utility in CRM to allow a group of SMS resources to select the list of leads to deleted and schedule a process on demand whenever required. CRM Online Utility will let the user to use a PS Query to get all the spam leads, enable to filter the leads which needs to be deleted, includes validation logic to check if the same customer have any other valid leads or transactions, other required business logic and to schedule a process on demand.
