To begin with, the system forced the Recruiters to make use of the same application for both Job Openings. There were scenarios where Recruiters wished to view a different version of an application for different Job Openings (like Language skills suiting the Job Opening needs), so that applicant was considered by the Manager for selection. But they were unable to do it due to system limitation.
Custom functionality was built which allowed Recruiters to create another version of an applicant’s application, while linking them to a different job opening. With this proposed feature, Recruiters could edit the application linked to the new Job Opening without impacting the application which the applicant had submitted for another job opening.
