Balakrishna Reddy Duvvuru: For a leading American retailer of aftermarket automotive parts and accessories, the Accounts Payable process was running 70 to 80 minutes, resulting in delayed vouchers. Users had to wait to see their vouchers in the system. At times, the delay was even close to a day in voucher loading, and it was running beyond the batch window and not allowing the next instance to run. This unique CVA helped in identifying the long running process logic in the program and performance tuned the SQL scripts, and indexed the tables. Matching program has been tuned to complete the process in 15 minutes, on an average, in an hourly batch.
