As a Peoplesoft Administrator, I always refer PeopleBooks as a trusted documentation. Now there is a good news. Oracle released all of the Peoplesoft Documentation (For PeopleTools, there is PeopleBooks for Version 8.49) on the internet with all the capabilities (search etc).
Here is the link:
I am sure this is a great step as for as Oracle is concerned. This documentaion provides facility for growth in Peoplesoft Usage. While I write this post, here are the PeopleBooks Documentation Available on the Oracle PeopleBooks Website.
- Customer Relationship Management Release 9.0 (CRM)
- Enterprise Learning Management Release 9.0 (ELM)
Enterprise Performance Management Release 9.0 (EPM)
- Financials Supply Chain Management Release 9.0 (FSCM)
Human Resources Management System and Campus Solutions Release 9.0 (HRCS)
- PeopleTools Release 8.49 (PT)
Portal Solutions Release 9.0 (PS)
Since this is available on the internet from a trusted source like Oracle, I am sure we can use this link as the “Help” link, so there may be no need for hosting separate PeopleBooks on your local intranet. however, for intranet facilities, I feel it is better to host PeopleBooks locally inside the network.
Ok, thats all for now, meet you in another post. Until then.
