The roadmap to modernization was comprehensive and followed a best-fit best-practices methodology.
The on-premises SQL Server data warehouse comprised of 1000+ tables, 500+ views, 200+ procedures, 60+ functions and 1.3 TB of data.
The automated assessment of the landscape by Amaze for Data & AI provided a metadata analysis report, a complexity analysis report of the SQL DB objects and SSIS ETL packages, and a fit gap analysis report. The objects were assessed for viability of automated migration to Azure Synapse within 2 weeks.
Post the assessment, the client was provided with a structured migration plan and roadmap, detailing the transformation timeline and implementation details.
The target state architecture created was based on the target state considerations. Appropriate Azure services were also recommended based on the client’s requirements.
SSIS ETL jobs were automatically replatformed to Azure Data Factory (ADF) using Amaze® for Data & AI seamlessly.
